I just found a very old friend from 50 years ago that had a lot of dealings with the VA, trying to get disability for her ex-husband who had been a marine sniper over there where we weren't during Vietnam. She met a guy that was a WW2 vet that was trying to get disability for a gun shot wound with a WOODEN bullet from the Japanese. VA didn't recognize a WOODEN bullet so they were denying him. This was back in the late '70s early '80s. But I've been lucky to get pretty good service from the VA.
