I wanted new tubeless ready rims that looked original, not 70 year old tube wheels. I kissed every frog I could find looking for mfr who had or would make 16” x 4”to 5” 6 lug tubeless ready rims that used hubcaps, even sent a rim to a wheel maker to see if we could reuse the centers on new hoops…. No luck.
If you can use 15” then the answer is definitely yes, they are available….
I ended up finding 2 NOS never used wheels, and bought 4 other used rims, 2 were not true (wobble s x s) when checked on the wheel machine, they are still sitting on the shop floor….in the way…
As to disc brakes behind stock rims…. I have bendix drum brakes on my 46, but from what I have read may need spacers?
