| | | | Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 806 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 806 | Newly rebuilt motor & head was serviced (I don’t know exactly what he did). He did not paint it & I don’t think it was boiled out.
All I saw was fresh grease on the lifter etc.
I have put a couple of hundred miles on it. I just noticed this morning that bluish smoke blows out when I hit the throttle quickly. I drove her 10 minutes after she warmed up good. It still smoked when I returned. I don’t see any drop in oil level lately.
Will it do that before the rings seat?
