The front engine mount for the '60 - '62 is specific to that chassis using a 235. The difference is that while the earlier mount used 4 bolts on the lower portion, the '60 - '62 uses 2 studs. As far as the engine side is concerned, both mounts use the same holes on the engine block. The engine casting design was not changed to accommodate a new chassis design. As far as using a later model engine you would still need to deal with the side mount design, that started in '62 with the 230.
