The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline Transmission mount 1950?

I just went through this with my 47 GMC. What came out of it was the one pictured on the right in the first post. I had ordered new mounts and what I received was the one pictured on the left in the first post. They were not interchangeable on my truck. They both bolt to the bell housing fine. The difference was the length of the bottom side and how far away it came from the bell housing. My cross member angles up as it gets closer to the frame rails. The new mounts I was sent were longer on that bottom edge and hit the incline angle of the cross member. This did not allow the mount to sit down flush like it should. I was able to send them back for a refund. I needed the style in the second picture which I will try to attach here. Mine is a 1/2T GMC and different year so no guarantees my info applies, YMMV.
