From my experience, the transmission support crossmember in the 3100 is the same as the 3600. The transmission support in my 3600 was cracked, so I used one from a 3100 donor, and it was an exact fit.
That said, my’50 3600 had the trans mounts that breezy shows on the pic on the right, not the left. I’m wondering if the two are interchangeable? If, so, what is the real difference between them?
