What year is your truck? The Factory Assembly Manual for 47-54 trucks shows the 3800-4100 frame as 221 inches overall length, but the 3600 as 185 inches. Also, the 3600 has a hump over the rear axle, while the bigger frames are flat all the way back. I suppose you could adapt it, but it would be shorter than your 3800.
