Hy 48loadmasterguy, different light manufacturers attach their lights to the cab in different ways, Spanky has explained one way, check to see if there are more screws securing the base to the cab, if you find none then the base is probably stuck to the top of the cab, I've had to pry them off and ended up with half the gasket on the base and half stuck to the cab roof, good luck, hope that helps.
