So my 51's engine currently has a long shaft water pump. To make room for the radiator some had trimmed the hood latch panel to allow the radiator to be moved towards the front . The radiator was then bolted to the front of the radiator support rather than to the back side closest to the engine.
My question is the radiator I have correct ? It appears to me the someone may have swapped the brackets from side to side. I've attached a few pictures for clarity. I hope they help.
I have an uncut hood latch panel and want to get a correct water pump, fan, and pulley ordered. Also need to correct this radiator or get a replacement if need be. Everything was working with no leaks but radiator wasn't mounted very securely. And it looked kinda cheesy. Just want to put it in the way it was designed. Thanks for any input
