Similar to Otto, my question would be what is your goal for the truck long term?
Do you want to restore it? Build a resto-mod? Have a comfortable daily driver for around town? An occasional cruiser?
Depending on what you are trying to achieve, this thread should probably move to either Driveline or HiPo.
