HI folk's just a FYI on my sending unit
,i finally solved they mistery.I regrounded the wire to the battery and no luck.As before as i took the sending unit and raised it up and down i seemed to work.To make a long story short the arm that raises up and down has a contact point on the metal winding's of the unit it self.It was NOT I SAY NOT making a solid enough contact,i took a screw driver and pushed the end of the contact point against it and BINGO problem solved.PERSISTANCE and being determined that i was smarter than the sending unit payed off.This time any way,till the next delima.Have a good summer all& keep it between the ditches == Chad
