atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	old truck lover, I would run a wire from one of the screws on the sending unit housing to the frame or battery itself (negative) and see if that solved the problem. It sounds like the tank has a weak connection to ground, through the cab or through the tank. Stuart
