The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline What am I missing: 39/40 Brake backing plate striking steering knuckle stop

I was concerned that there was a spacer after seeing that photo but after looking at my 46 parts truck, it does not have spacers installed and the stops were not contacting the backing plate.
