For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 6 Member | | Member Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 6 | I would like to hear a few experienced opinions on using the 235 as an all around daily driver (and not swap it out with a v8). It will be pulling a '52 1/2 ton panel truck. I will occationally need to pull a 4500 lb boat up a boat ramp and home about a mile away, so I would install a type 3 hitch to the frame.
Also, I just figured out that my new toy has folding "bucket seats" up front (one covered in leather in excellent condition; the other in fabric that is totally shot). Were these seats typical for this vehicle? It also has an original wooden bed (with the steel runners like the pu)in back that I've been told is rather rare. Is this so? | | |
