Mark, it looks like the innovative tinkerer who "makes things work" is becoming an endangered species. If somebody, somewhere can't design a "kit" on a computer that allows a no-talent wrench jockey to bolt stuff together with a mindless rote procedure and some printed instructions, then "It can't be done"! It usually involves a million dollars' worth of of CNC equipment and a 3-axis printer to make the kit, too!
