Can't answer your question but.... I have owned & driven a 06 Colorado with 4 cyl over 200,000 miles now without problem one.... I am a believer in those motors.. Owned since new... suppose the 5 cyl would be similar....got me some great gas mileage since new.... Delky Dave in (snowy) central WYO
