Have done put one from classic on my 54, was super simple, just needed to shave a little off the bracket to keep it from hitting when turning the wheels from stop to stop, just make sure you do this or you will have to start over, you can't get a grinder to the bracket with it installed.
Here is a picture of mine as a rolling chassis, then completed.
