With the help of some fellow bolter’s, we were able with your help, diagnose the issue. We used your timing advance post to find the distributor was my source of the problem. At 2500 RPM’s the advance went to 50+.
I have a original distributor for that era of engine that is being rebuilt. I will follow up when that is installed.
