Your Tandem sounds like the one I had. I recently sold this 1954 Chevrolet 5400 series COE 16000lb. gvw 2 ton truck, that had a Trucktor Chaindrive Tandem Conversion. The rear tandems were on a separate frame rail that was slid over the factory frame. It went all the way under the cab.
