Have a 54 GMC 152-24 truck 3/4 ton. The axle stamped numbers shows MG1103 which I was told 1954 HO52 gear ration 4.57 I can get the housing and cover gaskets. Cannot seem to get the correct info for the pinion seal, sleeve, gaskets and whatever other parts I may need. Checked couple places but their parts system shows different types of axles. Only thing I know of that what's changed in the truck is the engine.
According to the GM Maintenance Manual shows a HO50 and HO72, not sure if the HO50 is the same as a HO52?
Can I get info on part numbers I need and double check what axle I have. Napa and local auto places have no info (small town). TIA
