I took the truck to a shop where it was reborn 13 years ago, BTW the new owner of the shop is a disabled vet. I going to try and stay away and give him a chance. I told him it was okay to push into a corner and take his time on it. It should not be a priority over an everyday vehicle. But I am still anxious to see what went wrong. For it to quit so abruptly at the start of the trip to KC I guess better there than on the way home. Thanks to JDL for coming to the rescue.
