Good work. When you said crossmember I thought you meant the one in pic. Not rods. Some do have a gusset/crossmember but they are GMC not Chevy. The rods don't do much either. You can remove them if you need to. Good luck with the build, let us know if you need other help. But looks like you know what you are doing just fine.
