The cab should easily swap over. The '48 may have a single rear mount, but there's no reason that the mounts for the '52 couldn't be installed if that's the case. Might need drilling the frame rails for the rear cab shackles. The doors are not easily interchangeable between '48 and '52 cabs. The latch mechanism is different. But hood and fenders are interchangeable.
