I'm doing this now too...had a couple tough ones.
With the stuck pins,I was able too get them out with liberal doses of penentrating oil,a pair of vise grips(w/nice sharp teeth!)and a propane torch to heat the hanger ( and spring when it was thier turn)Just DON"T use the torch and oil at the same time! If you are going to be removing the bushings too,BOYOCONNOR has a good post in the TECH TIPS page for that (there's also a post by me close to yours on the same page)
