For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 170 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 170 | I'm going to be pulling the head on my 46/216 half-ton. Is there anything special I need to know/do when removing the temperature sending tube that runs to the dash? I looks like it is simply unbolting the square nut that holds it to the head and then move it out of the way. I just wanted to be sure I don't need to try to keep fluid from leaking out of the tube. Thanks much. (PS. Thanks to the info on this forum I've already ordered the Remflex manifold gasket for when I put it back together.) | | |
