My 47 3600 has the 4:56 rear end. It is in very good condition so I opted to put a Gear Vendors overdrive behind my SM420. It gives me a 3.56: 1 final ratio. My 235 rpm is very comfortable 2400 at 60 mph. I have the original 8 bolt 15" rims.
