Not what you are really asking about, but I used the mounting plates from a '70s or '80s GM pickup when I converted my '37 headlights. The original chrome trim was messed up from age, so these are Harley Davidson aftermarket pieces for early motor cycles, not sure what years, maybe '40 on up. The lamps are Halogen with replaceable bulbs. The newer mounting plate was tack welded to the buckets, the rest Is stock GM parts. Joe
