How did your insurance company treat you after that wreck? Were you able to salvage anything from the truck?
It was an agreed value policy, so it was my fault that I hadn't updated the value in 2 years. They wanted way too much for me to keep the truck. The only thing I kept was the custom "GMC" hood grille I made in hope of using it on a replacement truck. But that replacement ended up being a '52, so I've been waiting for someone who has a 55.2-57 GMC that would appreciate the grille.
'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12 '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
