Hy 1950 FC253, I believe the brake lines are 1/4" with inverted flare nuts/fittings, there may be "banjo" fittings at the wheel cylinders and possibly the master cylinder as well, these use running thread "banjo" bolts to hold the inverted flare blocks in place, those use a copper washer on either side of the block to seal them, hope that helps.
