There is a ball/socket joint on a little rod that connects the carb to the rest of the throttle linkage ( out of firewall). The rod does not stay on the ball, previous owner wired it on, not safe looking. what can be done to repair the socket joint or replace it? have not found any in junk yards. I'm guessing this rod is not available any where. rod is only about 2 inches or so long. :confused:
