1. Drain the tank.
2. Remove the sending unit.
3. Peek inside with a flashlight and look.
4. Use a small shop vac to suck out the debris.
5. Clean the line to the fuel pump.
6. Replace any soft lines from tank to pump. They tend to deteriorate from the inside.
