| | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 183 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2003 Posts: 183 | The manual says to use a special tool to install the rear axle outer bearing on my 1952 Chevy 3100. Is it worth trying to find and buy this tool? I was thinking I could use a socket that just fits over the outer race of the bearing.
My dad always told me, "Don't force it, get a bigger hammer".
