Our department aquired a '60's Hahn pumper/tanker which we wanted to use for parades. Ran fine but the trans was a tad worn. The youngsters weren't able to move it without making coffee. I told them to double-clutch both up and down, and boy, did I get blank stares. (I also remember vent windows and dimmer switches on the floor.)
