I fixed preSUV's pictures that didn't display correctly. The issue is that there was no text in the post other than the pictures. Paul said that was the issue on one I asked about a few days ago.
The fact that there has to be at least a few words in the post besides the pictures was a new one on me. When editing, the pics show up in the attachment manager, but you also have to delete the img tag links.
Just another oddity with photos in the software.
