You know, they actually did make Oldsmobolts off and on through GMCs history. Early on, most GMC trucks used Olds 6 cylinders, and some 2 ton and larger trucks used Olds V8s as an option. And if you look under the hoods of some early '80s Chevy and GMCs, some were equipped with the 307 V8.
