I'm curious as to why the shop didnt test drive it and fix this issue before letting you have it back. It is obvious enough that they should have caught it and then fixed it. Just my 2 cents.

The rubber grommets in those bellhousing mounts can indeed turn into jelly-like rubber and be very unstable.

1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original.
Some of this story is in the Side Lot
Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
