You might be right, but those little magnets are crazy strong. Al kinds of warnings and they come in a child proof bottle.
I wish I would have bought two sets of them to avoid the nut “shims.”
I’ll see what happens and report back. Aside from the magnet strength, are the magnets positioned in a similar way to what you did? I used your drawing to guide the process.
Disassembling down to this point gave me the opportunity to clean and lube several more gears.
