I've already measured, and all journals are within spec for .01 under. I will be buying new bearings. My 'take away' was a hypothetical, but an important one.

The machinist I used has one of the best reputations in Alberta for building race engines. And this is far from the first 235 he's done. In fact he had one in the shop the same time he did mine. I have every confidence in him, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stop implying that he made a mess of my engine.

As always, I appreciate your knowledge, but please continue to go in depth as you did a few posts ago. That allows me to learn.
