After struggling with 2-1bbl Rochesters (on Offy intake) in my '51 3100 for years...I heeded Tom L's advice and switched to 2-1bbl Carters (w/ manifold heater ...what a difference! no leaking, no loading up, easier tuning ...nice clean set-up plus I got a couple extra mpg.
