I have installed a remote oil filter on my 216. However the 1/8 pipe port toward the front of the block on driverside is supposed to be return port. With engine running I have pressure on it. Is that port connected to the spray nozzles for the connecting rods? And if it is, Does that mean the filter only filters at idle? I am using a restricted filter. The pressure port is teed in with the oil pressure gauge.
