*) Springs wear at the tips where they slide and create a ridge on the neighboring leaf.
When a leaf hits the ridge, it is perceived as harsh to the driver.
*) Spring eyes wear. Play between the bolt and eye can create poor steering feel (wondering).
Exactly why I went with new springs.
