We are now starting to kick a little butt on the reassembly of the 47 2 ton. As some of you have seen, we got the cab on. We also now have the glass in, the wiring done, the headliner in, the front inners on, and fired it up on it own gauges and systems middle of the month. Have the passenger door done, and all the parts for the driver side laying there waiting. The seat cushions and frame are ready to put in, and we got a sharp looking steering wheel, all pianted up nicely. All the sheet metal is painted except the grill. Having some problems with the fuel tank yet, as the shop that sealed it, sealed up the pickup tube, so i'll have to redesign that part of it. Hope the weather holds out for a few more weeks so I can road test it. We're working on a web page, so everyone can see some of the 100 pictures we have of the whole project. Hope to be able to include some of the other lesser trucks sitting here waiting there turn. Its unbeleivable how differnt, these trucks are one yr to to the other, even the differnt things in the same yr. You really have to watch out when buying new or used parts, as they may or not work on your truck. The firewall and floors vary alot depending on how new or late in the model yr it was built.
