I've had a lot of valve train issues over the years since I had my 235 rebuilt. After driving it for 3 or4 years the first set of new lifters, some would bleed down when the engine would set. I replaced the rocker shaft assembly with a NOS one, I've broken 2 push rods, I replaced all the new lifters with new Melon lifters. Now it's just a little noisy. I'm going to adjust them next week. Wish I could just lift the hood up like most of you all. If I just had a dollar for every time I pulled the seat, shifter and floor out of that thing! Thanks for the Info!
