Out of curiosity I looked for loads during a 30 mph crash. It said with stretching type seat belts the G load is 20 and a 160 lb person would exert 3200 lbs on those seat belts.
With non stretching belts the load would be 4800 lbs with the same 160 lb person. Some of us weigh a bit more of course. So I would like to know if that sheet metal is going to take say 6000 lbs of pull with a heavier person and faster speeds?
