Joined: May 2005 Posts: 8,878 | The front mount and the section of crossmember are stock for the 78 GMC 6500 the engine came from. It is actually just like the stock 216 mount just a tad bigger.
The rear mounts started as rear mounts for a Louisville Ford truck. Like would have come with a 3208 Cat, and even the gas v8 engines too. I bought new rubber parts and made the engine side. I machined the frame side from what was originaly the engine side of the ford setup.
The rear mounts hang all of the engine and trans less about 125# on the front mount.
