You really did turn that sow's ear into a silk purse.
Unfortunately my original tailgate was way worse. In fact, it was so bad, I don't even have a picture of it.
I cut out the center section with CHEVROLET on it and am making a wall hanging out of that. [on edit] here's a pic. The boards will be ripped down a bit to make the frame.
