| | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | Congratulations, that is the correct radio for a 1947 to 1953 Chev or GMC truck. It was made between 1947 and 1950. A newer model that looks almost identical when installed, was made from 1950 to 53 and either will fit all those years. You will notice that the rear cover is cut on an angle on the sides. It is often referred to as the "slant back" radio. | | |
