Congratulations on scoring a nice truck at a great price. It is definately a 1-ton bed.
I believe the lowest gross weight dually is 11,500. My GMC gross weight is also 8800 and has the overload springs in back. It had 7-17 in front and 7.5-17 in rear when I got it.
