Jethro in Virginia We went thru the 8 volt battery trick 60 years ago,wouldn't work then either. I'm just glad you don't have to wonder if your cut--out relay opened when you are walking away any more. Those slippery GM engineers fixed all of that when they turned the charging circuits around and stopped running heavy amperage thru brushes. Now you can carry all of your charging troubles over to your bench in one package--save bad cable connections or cables!!
