Saturday, after filling the tank, drove the truck to the San Francisco Farmers Market. Went 74 miles round trip running the 235 with 3.50 rearend and SM420 at an average speed of 55 mph. 16” tires. Per the tach, averaged at 2300 rpm. Yes, very slow but had no problem dealing with crazy drivers. What is the slow lane for anyways?
Yesterday decided to fill the tank again to check the MPG and seeing that the needle never dropped very much, was pretty excited. Never thought it would be that good. Then again, steady speed, very little stop and go action = yeah baby!
